陈晓亚,男,博士,研究员,博士生导师,中科院上海生科院植物生理生态研究所所长,植物分子遗传国家重点实验室主任,曾任中国植物生理学会理事长,现任中国植物生理学会常务副理事长。

主要学历和工作经历:
1982年2月毕业于南京大学生物系并获学士学位;
1985年12月获英国Reading 大学博士学位。此后在南京大学生物系任教;
1991-1992年在德国Tuebingen大学植物学系进行访问研究;
1992-1994年在美国Purdue大学做博士后研究;
1994年10月至今在中国科学院上海生命科学研究院植物生理生态研究所(原中科院上海植物生理研究所)工作。

研究方向:
从事植物次生代谢和棉花生物学研究。主要工作包括:植物萜类(棉酚、青蒿素)生物合成途径研究;水稻代谢谱分析;植物表皮细胞及棉纤维发育调控机制,棉花品质改良基因工程。

plant secondary metabolism and cotton fiber development, research projects include investigation of plant e biosynthesis, rice metabolomics, cloning and functional characterization of transcription factors that control cotton fiber development, and cotton genetic engineering.
