1981年在安徽农学院获学士学位,
1986年在武汉大学获硕士学位,
1990年在中科院植物所获博士学位,
1991-1994年在美国伯克利加州大学做博士后,
1998年到北京大学生命科学学院任教授
主要研究工作:
通过两个实验系统,以雄蕊为主要对象探讨植物器官形成的调控机制:其一是利用黄瓜单性花研究雌花雄蕊发育停滞的分子机制,从而了解正常发育所需要的关键条件;其二是利用基因表达谱技术探讨水稻雄蕊发育早期基因调控网络的变化。此外,我们还特别关注植物中染色质结构修饰对基因表达的调控的影响。
