扬州大学植物基础实验室主任

 

王忠,男,江苏无锡人。1977年江苏农学院农学专业毕业,留校任教。

主要学习和工作经历:
1982年江苏农学院应用植物生理学研究生毕业,获中科院生理学部理学硕士学位。
91-92年和98年曾两次由国家公派赴日本留学。
93年破格晋升教授,98聘为博士导师。
现任扬州大学植物基础实验室主任,农学院植物生理学教研室主任,植物学科博士点带头人,中国植物生理学会理事,致公党扬州市委副主委,江苏省政协委员。

研究方向:
多年来王忠教授重视植物生理的教学和研究工作,他主编了全国农业院校规划教材“植物生理学”,主持过拾多项科学研究课题,其中有8项为国家自然科学基金项目。开展的主要研究有:“作物的光呼吸与光合作用的关系”、“CO2在农业上的综合利用”、“光合碳代谢的调节”、“水稻开闭颖机理”、“谷物的胚乳发育”和“水稻根的负向光性机理”等。至今他发表论文130篇。在国际上他首先发现了CO2促进水稻开花的效应和稻根的负向光性,并把CO2促进水稻开花的效应应用于水稻的杂交和开花结实生理的研究。他编导与协助摄制科教电视与电影各一部,其中“水稻杂交新技术”在中央电视台等视台播放,并获农业部教育司优秀电视教材金穗一等奖、农业部全国农业电影电视“神农”银奖、江苏省首届优秀科教影视片一等奖等5个奖项。

科研成果:
主要的科研成果有:“水稻开闭颖机理研究”获国家教委科技进步二等奖,“光呼吸与光合作用关系”获江苏省科技进步三等奖,主讲的课程“植物生理学”获江苏省高等学校一类优秀课程和省教学成果一等奖;主讲的“高级植物生理学”分别获省研究生优秀课程和开放课程;另获省部级奖5项,优秀论文奖拾多项。至今招收硕博士生20人。享受政府特殊津贴。

Education and working experience:
1974-1977: BS, majored in agronomy at Jiangsu Agriculture College
1979-1982: MA, majored in applied plant physiology at Jiangsu Agriculture College
1977-present: Teaching and doing scientific researching at Jiangsu Agriculture College
1991-1992: studying in Japan
1998: Studying in Japan

Awards:
Popular science film " New Methods for Rice Hybridization " won the following prizes:
· 1992: the first prize of the Golden Ears prize for outstanding television education program from the education department of the Ministry of Agriculture,
· 1993: silver medal of " god of farming " prize of national agricultural television program and film from the Ministry of Agriculture,
· 1993: first prize of the outstanding popular scientific film and television program of Jiangsu Province
The main scientific achievements were as follows:
· 1989: "Relationship between photorespiration and photosynthesis" won the third-class award of scientific and technological progress of Jiangsu Province
· 1995: "Opening and closing mechanism of rice glumous" won the second prize of scientific and technological progress of th
National Education Commission
· 2002: The course of "Plant Physiology " won the first prize of the outstanding course for advanced education of Jiangsu Province.
· 2002: The course of " advanced plant physiology " was entitled to ‘the outstanding course for graduate students'.
· 2003: The course of " advanced plant physiology " was entitled to ‘the public course' of Jiangsu Province
· 2004: The course of "Plant Physiology " won the first prize of teaching achievement of Jiangsu Province.
