主要学习和工作经历：
1997年于南开大学获博士学位，1999年至2000年于中国台湾中研院植物研究所进行博士后研究，师承美国科学院院士杨祥发先生。2003－2004年香港科技大学生物学系访问学者。

主要研究方向：
（1）植物叶片衰老的分子机制；
（2）植物激素信号传导及相互作用的分子机制；
（3）利用生物工程技术改善农作物的品质和产量。

主要社会职务：
中国植物生理学会第九届理事会常务理事、中国植物生理学会分子生物学专业委员会主任、生长物质专业委员会委员、天津市植物学会理事、《亚热带植物科学》编委、华南师范大学客座教授。

ENGLISH

Dr. WANG, Ning Ning is a professor of Department of Plant Biology and Ecology of Life Science College of Nankai University, a supervisor of Ph.D. students, and a guest professor of South China Normal University. Professor Wang was granted the Ph.D. degree by Nankai University in 1997. From 1999 to 2000, as a postdoctoral research fellow she worked in Institute of Botany, Academia Sinica (Taipei, China), under Professor Shang Fa Yang who is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, USA and the winner of Wolf Prize in Agriculture in 1991. From 2003 to 2004, she worked, as a visiting scholar, in Department of Biology of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Research Interests:
(1) Molecular mechanism of plant leaf senescence;
(2) Signal transduction pathways of plant hormones and their cross-talks;
(3) Agronomic traits modification by gene technology.

Profession services:
a standing councilor of Chinese Society for Plant Physiology (CSPP), head of the professional committee of plant molecular biology of CSPP, a member of the professional committee of plant growth regulators of CSPP, a councilor of Tianjin Society of Botany, and a member of Editorial Board of Subtropical Plant Science.
