植物逆境营养生理、矿质元素的生理效应及其在土壤-植物系统中的循环、重金属污染植物修复等。

获奖情况:
2001年获江苏省第七届“青年科技奖”;2002年获中国农学会第八届“青年科技奖”、教育部第四届“高校青年教师奖”。

Short Description:
My research covered a wide range of areas including the physiological responses of plants to toxic metals; hyperaccumulation of metallic elements and development of phytoremediation technology for metal-polluted sites. Research approach involves the interdisciplinary application of methodologies from molecular biology, biochemistry, plant physiology, ecology and soil chemistry in order to elucidate underlying mechanisms and to develop sustainable biotechnologies for the prevention, management and remediation of environmental contamination.

Plant nutrition physiology
Physiological responses of plants to toxic metals
Phytoremediation of contaminated lands
